Blu-ray Editorial Review
The Equalizer 3 Blu-ray receives mixed reviews from customers. While some praised the quality of the film and the skillful fight scenes, others felt that the storyline lacked excitement and had run out of steam. However, several reviewers expressed their love for the Equalizer series, particularly the early seasons. Season 1 was highly regarded as the best, with the longest and most impressive intro sequence. Furthermore, the instrumental music, composed by Stewart Copeland, was highly praised for capturing the intense and frenetic energy of New York City. However, some reviewers noted that the later seasons suffered due to the absence of Copeland's music and the introduction of different composers, particularly Cameron Allan, whose music was described as a "funereal dirge." Additionally, the chemistry between the main character, McCall, and his sidekicks was highly praised in the early seasons, but some reviewers found the new sidekick, Harley Gage, to be uninteresting and lacking chemistry with McCall. Finally, the quality of the writing in the later seasons received criticism, with episodes by Coleman Luck being particularly disliked for their tedious espionage subplots and minimal drama.
