Users have reported being able to place the chime box in a different room and still hear it clearly due to its loud volume. Additionally, the mat can be placed under a mattress to indicate whether someone is on or off the bed, although there may be some disturbance if there is movement during sleep. The alarm setting on this product is described as very loud, which can be beneficial for security purposes. However, some users have found the chime to be piercing and intense, which may not be suitable for those with sensitive hearing or animals that are easily frightened. Overall, the Digiteck B7-HIDDEN PRESSURE ACTIVATED MAT ALARM CHIME ALERT/STAIR MAT FOR INTRUDER ALARM offers a reliable and cost-effective solution for various monitoring needs.
