Just bought this and so far so good- but there was no pump noise the first day or two, and now it hums quite a bit- normal or problem?
répondre: The pump noise usually caused by blocked intake on the pump. I have three cats so it is easy for the blockage to be from their hair. The problem is easily solved by removing the pump and cleaning off the intake. Voila! The noise goes away until it becomes blocked again. -

répondre: We love the fountain, but ours isn’t a mini Twice ordering filter we were sent mini filters and were too small, so be careful when ordering as that might happen to you. Yes yes even for mini the filters accommodate more than one cat. We still use the mini filters on our fountain w en if a bit too small. -

How often should you change the filter?
répondre: It's been a month and we haven't had to replace the filter yet. -

How do you take the pump apart on the mini one
répondre: Open pump cover, remove impeller cap, pull impeller out. I used a plyer to pull impeller out. It is not difficult to take out impeller, but there is a magnet and it is hard to pull it with fingers. -

I assembled my fountain but the water isn’t flowing strong enough to flow through the fountain?
répondre: Either the plastic pieces aren't lined up right, your suction cup isn't stuck in the Right place, or you haven't put enough water in the fountain. Try setting it up with just the pump and the base first, then add the top piece. -

Should the inside of the pump already be wet when opened? Mine was and I bought it new.
répondre: If I remember correctly, the pump I got was wet too and it has worked fine, no problems. Hope this helps!
