TEKTRO Brake Levers RX 4.0 Editorial Review

The Tektro RX 4.1 Reverse Brake Lever Set Black is a reliable and affordable option for anyone looking to upgrade or replace their brake levers. The set includes two levers, despite the initial confusion caused by the product image only showing one lever. These brake levers are designed to fit "road" style handlebars, with the ends of the bar parallel to the frame. They attach to the ends of the handlebar using an allen bolt that expands a plug. The black end piece is removable to access the allen bolt. It is important to note that the cabling comes out on the inside and should be wrapped with handlebar tape. The levers feature shims, allowing for a wide range of handlebar sizes. Customers have successfully used them on 25.4mm bullhorn handlebars with no issue. They also work well with v-brakes and can be used in conjunction with barend shifters on different bars, such as aeros and bullhorns of a tri bike. Overall, customers have had positive experiences with the Tektro RX 4.1 Reverse Brake Lever Set Black. They have found them to be easy to install and the levers hold firmly in place, providing reliable braking performance. The material feels good and sturdy, giving them confidence in the durability of the product.
