The fan creates a Constant temperature by mixing the air and moving it around. Even if there is no AC, cooler air coming in from a window can be mixed with the warmer air in the house to help create an overall cooling effect. Though specific to the unit’s motor, it moves a lot of air and creates great white noise for sleeping when on the highest setting. The power Consumption rates at 31W on low, 34W on medium and 52W on high make it an energy-efficient option. The Vornado 733 Full-Size Whole Room Air Circulator Fan comes with its detachable power brick, which is great. However, the power brick gets quite hot and may pose a safety risk at high power for long periods of time.
