Answer: You can bond the Sub (Gen 3) with any Sonos speaker, except for the Move, Port, and Connect. -

Does the 3rd generation sub or s2 operating system support 'wpa3-personal' security - found on most modern routers?
Answer: Which bug is it? Mine (Is sub and 2 x rears and is working fine both wireless to the Arc soundbar, wireless) -

Can the sonos sub be connected to a sonos amp (wireless or rca cable)? i'd be buying both new, so no old equipment compatibility issues.
Answer: Yes, the Sub can wirelessly connect to the Sonos Amp. After being added to your system, the Sub will look for another Sonos to connect to and play with on the Sonos app. If you have any other questions, our support team is happy to help. -

I seem to hear a buzz/hum from the sub when not using. I notice it when on low/quiet volume. it's only when I switch off at socket does the noise stop
Answer: You should not hear a sound. It seems the speaker could be picking up interference from another electrical source in the vicinity. Move the speaker and plug it into a different socket to see if that improves it. -

Answer: The Sub does not have Alexa built-in, but it can be connected to other Sonos speakers with Alexa, such as the Beam. The Sub is designed to be part of a system. -

Answer: As the Sonos Move is designed for both inside and outside your home, away from your WiFi, it cannot be paired with a Sonos Sub. -
