  • Seeding rate: 1/4 LB per 500 - 1,000 SF or 5 LBS per 10,000 - 20,000 SF
  • Prepare site by removing weeds and loosening soil, seed can be broadcast and raked into the soil or drilled to a maximum of ¼ inch

  • Question: Does this product contain any fillers?

    Answer: It only has wildflowers.
  • Question: Are your bags of 1 or 5 pound seeds all seeds? Or is there thongs in the bag like fertilizer that make up the weight?

    Answer: I just broadcast a one-pound bag last week. All I saw in the bag were seeds. These have done very well for me. This is my third season with these flowers.
  • Question: Will these do well on a cool, damp, creekside area in Kentucky?

    Answer: If it is not soggy and gets sunlight at least 4 hours.
  • Question: How do these flowers do in clay soil? If I get perennial what is required in the off season?

    Answer: They do okay if you loosen top several inches since most of the Southeast is clay. No particular off season requirement.
  • Question: I live in New Jersey, zone 7, would these grow well here? I plan to plant them to replace front lawn.

    Answer: I believe that they would do well in your climate. We're in Rock Hill South Carolina which is 7B. The planted them in the late spring lots of smaller flowers during the summer but when the fall rolls around the cosmos really blew up and was absolutely beautiful you must be patient with these. And with any luck they will recede and some will come back next year
  • Question: Will these flowers bloom in the shade?

    Answer: These prefer full sun. They can bloom in partial shade if given morning sun.
  • Question: Can you plant in the fall for the following spring?

    Answer: I have planted in the fall several times with great results.
