The Pentair Pentek FloPlus-10 Carbon Water Filter is a 10-inch under-sink modified molded carbon block replacement cartridge. It has a 0.5-micron filter and is suitable for whole house use depending on total water Consumption and other factors. Customers have reported using it for their whole house for a couple of years with pre-filters down to 1 micron, changing the pre-filter every 3 months and this filter every 6 months. Water pressure drop is unavoidable when filtering down to 0.5 micron, but the filter gives the best performance by far and is the best low micron filter for whole house use you can find.
